Brief History
Central Alberta Paint & Supplies (CAPS store in Red Deer) and Canadian Auto Paint Supply (CAPS store in Edmonton) were founded in 1964 by Fred Ladwig Sr.
Today, through Fred Ladwig Jr., with headquarters in Red Deer, Alberta, CAPS continues to provide high quality body shop paint, supplies, autobody parts and automotive parts to DIY customers and body shops across Canada and the U.S.
Most of our customers are in Western Canada including British Columbia (BC), Alberta (AB), Saskatchewan (SK) and Manitoba (MB). But, we also serve customers from Ontario (ON) and Quebec (QC).
